  • Summary:

    In March, Harada Kensuke visits Shinmachi with his wife Kazumi who has terminal cancer. This was where they lived when they were newlyweds. Last summer, Kazumi suffered from health problems. After a checkup, she was given a year to live. While Kazumi is going in and out of hospital, she asks Kensuke not to tell their two sons Kenya and Daisuke about her life expectancy. Kensuke has mixed feelings, but he listens to her request. In spring, six months after her cancer was detected, Kensuke and Kazumi visit Shinmachi in accordance with her wishes. The two of them arrive at the apartment where they started living together…
