  • Summary:

    The drama SP is based on a manga serialised in “Morning” between 1998 and 2006 by Nishimura Mitsuru and Kawasumi Hiroshi and features Sakurai as the lead character Osawa Ko, a chef specialising in French cuisine who is warm and serious about his work. Despite working as a assistant head chef in a top-class hotel, Ko feels weird about not being able to see his customers’ reactions to his dishes. Just then, he sees a pamphlet asking for interested parties to apply for a chef position at the Japanese Ambassador’s residence in Vietnam and decides to work there instead so that he can create dishes with his skills and heart.
