- Summary:
Nakamura Haruki (Nagayama Kento) is an underachieving high school student whose mother announces she is getting a private tutor for him. At first resistant, he soon warms up to the idea when his tutor turns out to be the beautiful Ozawa Maria (Hirosue Ryoko) and almost immediately his grades improve. But just as Haruki thinks his relationship with Maria is at a turning point, she disappears without a trace. 10 years later, Haruki has passed the bar exam and is a lawyer for a small law firm and has a girlfriend he’s on the cusp of marrying. His quiet life is shaken though, when Maria, now Hijii Motoko, suddenly reappears in the news, accused of fraud and in the murders of several men. When the law firm Haruki is with offers to help Hijii Motoko out in her defense, Haruki and Maria/Motoko will meet once again after 10 years…
