  • Summary:

    41-year-old Shizuru (Takako Tokiwa) lives with her mother and grandmother in a mountain village in Gifu Prefecture. Shizuru lives a stifled and boring life, spending most time working as a hospital receptionist or taking care of her grandmother at home. One day Shizuru remembers a book she enjoyed as a child - Tsuki ni Inoru Piero. Wanting to reread it, she orders a copy online. In the book, she finds a piece of paper with a recipe written on it. She begins an email exchange with the man who sent the book. They are connected by this book they both read as children.
