- In this dreamlike yet earthbound film, Rahmat the boatman navigates the increasingly brackish waters of a coastal land, collecting the heartaches and tears of its inhabitants. It has to be a cult Iranian movie…brilliant with some great visuals…Thanks Biru.
***SPOILER***
Anybody knows just what happened in the last scene with the old man in wheelchair, girl with the same red sandals from the first dead girl (these red sandals just keep appearing time to time in the movie) and the girl who was pushing the wheelchair (isn’t it she’s the one who was sacrificed in the sea). Last scene just made everything complete confusing.
