- Summary:
This early-ish Naruse is best remembered for having two giants of 50s Japanese cinema in its crew – Akira Kurosawa and Ishiro Honda. Somewhat ironically, very little has been written about the film itself. It’s a fascinating nonlinear study of a marriage, only one year old, beginning to crumble. Kusaku is married to Fukiko but is in love with Yayoi. A nice little film (runs under an hour) that features some flashes of the future Naruse. Some thriller elements, as well, which (to my knowledge) Naruse wouldn’t return to until The Stranger Within a Woman. It’s a bit more pronounced in that film, though. This is more like a warm up for Repast, less complicated and less complete. (cinematalk.wordpress.com)

and when i open the https-firedrive-link [which is the link above] firefox only says meh… invalid certificate, unsecure connection, do you really want to do that. and also doesn’t rly open the page as full.
when i use the firedrive link only with http, this happens:
it does not work when i click on download on the firedrive link? no reaction, nothing. by clicking on direct download under the streaming video only the same page opens.
just asking, coz until some time ago, last week? the week before that? it worked fine.
[eta] it worked fine. at least if you used firedrive over embedupload.
I think firedrive is doing some kind of maintenance these days? I can’t access their site.
