- Summary:
While working at a seaside inn with his high school buddies, Kouji Fujishiro (Yamada Takayuki) meets Kaoru Amane (Sawajiri Erika), a street musician. Kaoru is suffering from an incurable disease called XP (xeroderma pigmentosum), and can’t be exposed to the sun. Under the sun, the two would never have met. Still, destiny brings the two together. Since the day he suddenly lost his job, Kouji has lost sight of his dreams. But when he meets Kaoru, who is making positive efforts to become a singer, Kouji regains his long-forgotten passion for music.

are you talking about the filename because the title at the top of the page says Taiyo no Uta and I don’t plan to go through all the files one by one, renaming them just for a spelling error.
Actually it is Taiyou no Uta, it is written there exactly in the middle in white katakana 🙂 So the files are correct, but the titel of this article is not. Just wanted to mention that.

I love this series. The actors are superb, the story is great. The lead characters really shine in this show. It beautifully illustrates the importance of living your life each day to the fullest so you have no regrets when you die I’ve personally known people with terminal illnesses that still manage to be happy. I learned from this series that I’m going to live my life to the best of my ability and be happy no matter what. Thank you for this show and thank you to the subbers. You don’t get enough credit for your hard work. animemom
