Strong-minded Yuri is a university student looking for a man who will love her just as she is. One day, she gets tangled up with a shady group at a party that she is attending with a friend. She gets forced to consume illegal drugs but is saved in the nick of time by Oya Toshiomi, the young leader of the Oya-gumi. He hands her a name card with the characters of the Oya-gumi written on it to serve as her shield in the future. Yuri hesitantly tells herself to do nothing more than thank him as she visits the gang to convey her gratitude but unexpectedly finds Toshiomi with a gentle smile. He is drawn to her pluckiness while his kind, gentlemanly demeanour makes her heart flutter. Following a shooting incident at the Oya-gumi, Yuri is ready to become his lover. However, their love is forbidden. The appearance of a hostess Choko who is infatuated with Toshiomi; Yuri’s childhood friend Jin who is a detective that deals with yakuza groups; Toshiomi’s father who heads the Oya-gumi; and a mafia boss Semirio causes more turbulence.
