- While his wife, Zahra (Negar Javaherian), cares for their children and supports the family by weaving rugs, Seyed Reza (Behrouz Shoeibi) studies the Koran in pursuit of becoming a mullah. But, when Zahra is diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, Seyed must take on her responsibilities. Seyed is scorned by the male-driven society of Iran for doing so-called women’s work, but he finds comfort in prayer. As he weaves long into the night, his religious studies take on a stronger personal relevance.

I found a version of “The Last Act (Pardehe Akhar)(1991)” that has shown on one of iranian TV channels but unfortunately it hasn’t english subtitle. The quality of picture is not bad and resolution is 480 x 320. If you would like to watch it click Here.
What about “Delshodegan (Love-stricken (1992 film)” Directed by Ali Hatami? Have you watched it? It is a good movie too.
