- Summary:
Everything starts on the birthday of Eun Jae’s dad. Eun Jae ran into Pak Moo Yul, who is the 2nd baseman of ‘Red Dreamers’, when she is drunk. Eun Jae who is a fan of ‘Blue Seagulls’, starts a fight with Moo Yul who led the ‘Red Dreamers’ to victory. The next day, internet is on fire with the video called ‘Humiliated Pak Moo Yul’. Because of this video, career of both Moo Yul and Eun Jae, who recently got a job as a bodyguard, are in danger.
In the end, they decided to put on a show against the public! They lie that Eun Jae is Moo Yul’s private bodyguard and the video was recorded when Eun Jae was giving a self-defense demonstration to Moo Yul. Like this, Eun Jae becomes real bodyguard of Moo Yul. It seemed like everything worked out just fine, but the problem is that they can’t stand each other’s existence.

hulu does everything raw…like totally unedited…like if the cast is cursing, they’ll put the direct curse word in English for the Korean one (at least thats what i experienced for reply 1997 and special ten season 1)…same thing goes for ViKi!
as for darksmurfs, i think it depends on who is the translator…some translators do really neat job (Mandate, Virus) and more accurate to Korean dialogues, so, usually their subs are good…but can’t guarantee others as I never tried any DFF sub outta my chosen subbers!
and, as for DF, if u want a decent sub aka an edited subtitle thats gonna skip all cursing & korean terms and be more easily understandable in English terms, then go for DF version! (for example, 1. there’ll be NO Hyung/oppa/nonna/makne aka populer Korean terms or proverbs within ur subs! rather it’ll have all Bother/sister/lil bro terms instead! 2. If the cast says 3 sentences in Korean, u’ll get 1 decent English sentence for ur sub! 3. easy to understand in English but u won’t get to know original Korean cultural terms/norms)
TIPS: actually sub depends on the transcriber/subber’s skill on translating…so, if u’r not sure which one to chose, i’ll say chose a subber for example viki for 1/2 episodes…see if the sub is working for ur understanding or not…if u can understand what the cast is saying well then go for it for remaining episodes! and, if it is hard for ur understanding, then switch to alternative available others!
as for, Hanrel, u’re making a mistake as Hanrel is not a subber’s name rather it is the ripper’s name who rips the raw video…so, basically hanrel is the name for RAW video, not for the subber who’s translating! so, when you see the name hanrel is added beside a subtitles’ name that means this subtitles’s timing is going to match with the Hanrel RAW(video) version! same goes to WITH raw for WITH titled subs, KOR for KOR titled subs, iPOP for ipop titled subs, LIMO for LIMO titled subs blahblahblah~~~ simply, the thing is…sub’s timing is gonna match for each same named raw video!

wow, thanks for all those details…thanks…haaha…cuz i was watching this series on hulu n next day it does not freaking worked so i had to choose another site which was goodrama or whatever i dont even know now…n the i was on the breaking up scene again… this dude saying to the ex ” i dont think i will ever like anyone as much as i liked you ” but i was buffering again the next day on another site n it said ” for me to like you as much as i did back then will be difficult ” i was like whoo… .totally diff than yesterdays sub??? haha lol…so i was just wondering which sub is correct here u know…haha..n sometimes some parts does not make sense. anyway, thanks for this..it was really funny in the beginning.
well, sometimes subbers use transcriber programmes (uses the audio to translate them into written words..or uses other language subs like chinese/jap/korean subs to translate into english subs) to make a scrap if he’s not too skilled in either korean/english and then edit them later to make eng subs…usually those kind of subs come out gibberish as subber haphazardly fills in lines that makes no sense to them as they themselevs ain’t understanding the lines either bcz of their language skills!
