One winter’s day, the body of a young man who plunged to his death is discovered in the grounds of a high-rise apartment building in Arakawa ward. The man is believed to have fallen from a considerable height. His face is unrecognisable and a positive identification cannot be made. Detective Yoshida Tatsuo (Terao Akira) of Arakawa Kita Police Precinct goes to the scene and sets about the investigation, but just as he starts his house-to-house enquiry within the apartment building, this time, the gruesome murdered bodies of a middle-aged couple and an old woman are discovered in unit 2025. Four dead bodies have suddenly turned up at this quiet apartment building. Naturally the four deceased are thought to be the family that lives at unit 2025. However, their age and gender do not match the details recorded in the residents registry, and the investigation squad is left confused. Furthermore, it turns out that two persons who were not residents were caught on the surveillance cameras installed in the building’s lifts at what is thought to be the estimated time of death. But there are no clues to their identities as well as ties with the victims… At that moment the unexpected truth regarding the case is revealed by the sudden apperance of an unlikely person. Meanwhile, as the police intensify their pursuit of the killer who brutally killed four people, a man who was caught on the surveillance camera, furtively hides in a cheap hotel in Tokyo.
Sekinuma Keiko (Tanaka Rena) supported her beloved boyfriend, who was waiting for another chance to get accepted for law school. He even promised that he would marry her once he got in, but callously dumped her. Then, Keiko receives a wedding invitation from this ex-boyfriend, Kokubun Shinsuke (Mikami Kensei). Having endured that indignity, anger bursts forth from Keiko. She decides to deal him a hard blow of “vengeance”. Armed with the sports shooting rifle from her hobby and clad in a beautiful dress, Keiko throws open to doors to the lavish wedding reception. On the other hand, Origuchi Kunio (Emoto Akira), the owner of a fishing gear shop whose beloved wife was brutally murdered three years ago, sets eyes on the rifle belonging to his customer, Keiko, and puts a “scheme of vengeance” into action without telling anyone. Origuchi’s employee, Sakura Shuji (Ito Atsushi), who loves Origuchi as if he were his own father, gets wind of the scheme and starts to go after him in an attempt to stop him even if it means putting his own life on the line, but…

The dead body of a man, whose head was hit after being run over by a recklessly driven car, is discovered in the outskirts of Tokyo. The victim’s wife, Noriko (Ito Yuko), is a attention-seeking woman with a lover, Tsukada Kazuhiko. It is also discovered that she had insured her husband’s life for 300 million yen. Society and the mass media regard Noriko and Tsukada with suspicion, but the two of them have perfect alibis. Then, Hibiki Takeshi (Nagatsuka Kyozo), a local detective in charge of the case, and the sleuth Kawano Kohei (Nakamura Toru) get involved in a baffling series of murders.
An old lady who lives alone in an ancient private residence in Tokyo is gunned down. When detective Inuyama of the Tokyo Metropolitan Police’s First Investigative Division and his colleagues examine the crime scene, they find that the victim’s savings of approximately 50 million yen has disappeared from its hiding place. In the midst of this, a man (Tamaki Hiroshi) in a unit of the same Tokyo apartment building wakes up but has completely lost his memory… Furthermore, he has the unfamiliar words ‘Level 7′ tattooed on his wrist. Another female stranger (Anne) is asleep in that apartment. There is 50 million yen in cash and a gun wrapped in a bloodstained towel inside a paper bag near her. The man cannot make sense of the circumstances and is terrified by. Then, the woman finally wakes up, but like the man, she has lost her memory too and is confused by the same ‘Level 7′ tattooed on her wrist. The two of them are plagued by fear, not knowing who they are or why they have landed in this situation. Meanwhile, Shingyoji Mai (Takimoto Miori), who has been living with her grandmother, Fumiko, goes to the police because her grandmother left behind a letter and disappeared. Mai recalls that Fumiko had said, “I can be happy if I go to level 7″ and starts to investigate ‘Level 7′. At that moment, the shadow of a suspicious-looking man closes in behind the woman!GD Star RatingMiyabe Miyuki “Gokujou” Mysteries (TBS Drama Special) (2012),
